In traditional steel sourcing, structural plants and gear manufacturers buy standard 3-meter or 6-meter steel bars. When customized lengths are cut, the leftover kerf waste and short-ends (scrap) are billed directly to the customer. At Sangam Steels India, our Actual Cut-Size Weight policy absorbs all scrap. You are billed strictly for the final weight of the cut components, saving between 10% to 18% in raw materials budgets.
