Shipping & Delivery Policy
How your steel gets from our saws in Hubli to your factory floor — timelines, freight, tracking and delivery checks.
Effective date: 8 July 2026 · Part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Where we deliver
We dispatch pan-India from our facility at Gamanagatti Industrial Estate, Hubli, Karnataka, through established surface transporters and, for local deliveries in the Hubli–Dharwad belt, our own vehicles. Factory pickup is also welcome — call ahead and we will keep your material loaded-ready.
2. Dispatch timelines
- In-stock material: cut, packed and dispatched within 2–4 business days of order confirmation.
- Quantities beyond current stock: the balance lead time is confirmed by our team before processing — you will never discover a delay after paying.
- Urgent requirement? Call us — same-day cutting and dispatch is often possible for Hubli–Dharwad and nearby industrial areas.
3. Delivery estimates (after dispatch)
- Karnataka: 1–3 business days
- South & West India: 3–5 business days
- North & East India: 5–8 business days
These are transporter estimates, not guarantees. Heavy consignments moving by part-load may take longer during festival seasons.
4. Freight charges
Freight is quoted on the order confirmation and depends on weight, destination and transporter. Depending on what suits you, freight can be prepaid (added to our invoice) or to-pay (settled directly with the transporter at delivery). Local deliveries by our own vehicle are quoted flat.
5. Packing & documentation
- Cut pieces are strapped, bundled and tagged by grade and size; bars are bundled with end-protection where needed.
- Every consignment travels with the GST invoice, weighment slip and — where applicable — the e-way bill and mill test certificates.
6. Tracking your order
Your order status (Confirmed → Preparing → In Transit → Delivered) is visible on the My Orders page. On dispatch we share the transporter name, LR/docket number and vehicle details by phone or WhatsApp, so you can plan unloading.
7. Receiving your delivery
- Please count bundles and check tags against the invoice before signing the transporter's copy.
- Note any shortage or visible damage on the LR at delivery and inform us within 48 hours with photos — this keeps your claim clean under our Refund Policy.
- Ensure suitable unloading arrangements (manpower/forklift) for heavy bundles; detention charged by transporters for delayed unloading is to the buyer's account.
8. Failed deliveries & re-attempts
If delivery fails because the site is closed or unreachable, the transporter re-attempts or holds the consignment at their godown; re-delivery or demurrage charges, if any, are to the buyer's account. We will coordinate to keep these to a minimum.
9. Delays beyond our control
Transport strikes, road closures, natural events and similar force-majeure situations can delay deliveries. In such cases we keep you informed and re-book at the earliest — but we cannot accept liability for consequential losses from such delays.
