Services

You focus on production. We take care of the material.

Stockholding, precision cutting, quality verification and delivery — supplied as one service at one rate, so material stops being a line of work on your floor.

What is included

Seven cost elements, one rate.

Each of these is a real cost in most procurement set-ups — in rent, in manpower, in machine time, or in material paid for and never used. All seven are carried on our side of the invoice.

Seven elements One rate per kilogram
01

Raw-material storage

Holding a working bar stock needs floor space, crane capacity and inspection on receipt. A 6,000 sq ft raw-material bay costs on the order of ₹15 lakh a year in rent alone. We hold the stock; you hold finished blanks.

₹15 lakh a year in rent, not yours
02

Cutting and preparation

Sawn to length and deburred, ready to load. No saw, no operator, no outside cutter and no transport to and from one.

No saw, no operator, no outside cutter
03

Kerf scrap

Every cut loses roughly 2.5 mm of bar to the blade. On a one-tonne order of ~1,200 pieces that is about 17 kg of steel turned to swarf. It is not on your invoice and not on your floor.

≈17 kg a tonne, not charged
04

Bar-end offcuts

Every 6 m mill bar loses a trimmed head and a leftover tail once cut to your length — around 10 kg per tonne of usable steel. We price only the finished, deburred pieces you receive.

≈10 kg a tonne, not charged
05

Minimum order quantities

Your schedule sets the quantity. Ten pieces or ten thousand, without buying the whole bar to get them.

Your piece count, not ours
06

Handling manpower

No cutting-floor headcount, supervision or safety programme to run for a first operation that adds no value to the part.

No cutting-floor headcount
07

Transport and movement

Mill to us, us to you. Everything in between is our logistics, not a line on your purchase order.

One dispatch, one consignment note

All seven sit on our side of the invoice. You are billed once, on the finished weight you receive. Work it out on your own figures

Cost calculator

Total cost of supply, worked on your own numbers.

Enter the bar you buy and the lot you cut. The calculator works through the same wastage, handling and cutting arithmetic our costing sheet uses, and sets the result against our all-inclusive rate. Figures are indicative and illustrate the structure of the cost, not a quotation.
